This role is responsible for supervising a team of up to 15 employees, ensuring safe and efficient production, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing background, prior leadership experience, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.This is a hands-on leadership position working closely with production, engineering, and management to maintain uptime, improve processes, and develop employees.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met safely and on scheduleSupervise, coach, and support a team of up to 15 manufacturing employeesSet clear expectations, monitor performance, and provide hands-on leadership on the floorOversee advanced composite fiber processing equipment and plant machineryIdentify and troubleshoot equipment or process issues to minimize downtimePromote a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountabilityTrain employees on equipment operation, work instructions, and safety proceduresEnforce 5S standards to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environmentCollaborate with engineering and leadership to drive productivity and continuous improvementQualificationsRequired:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 3 years of manufacturing experiencePrevious leadership or lead experience in a production environmentAbility to read and follow work instructions and safety proceduresAbility to pass and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Preferred:Associate's Degree or technical degreeBackground in textile manufacturing or composite materialsExperience leading teams in a high-volume or regulated manufacturing environmentShift ScheduleD-Shift:4:00 PM – 4:00 AMRotating schedule:Week 1: Wednesday – SaturdayWeek 2: Thursday – SaturdayWhy Join Us?You'll join a team committed to innovation, safety, and employee development.
