This is your opportunity to guide multidisciplinary technical teams, champion innovative engineering approaches, and help deliver clean, safe, and reliable water systems for communities today and into the future.What You'll Do:Organize, direct, and coordinate activities related to water infrastructure projects, such as water/wastewater treatment and stormwater management-from initial assessment through planning and designManage water/wastewater projects from development of project proposals through completion, providing environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutionsOversee project delivery and project financials, including scope, budget, schedule, subcontractor payments, and client relationships, to ensure timely and efficient completion of projectsCollaborate with Water team leadership to manage and motivate a high-performing group of technical professionals, ensuring excellence in project delivery and achieving team utilization goalsEffectively manage project budgets, scope, and schedules to deliver successful outcomes for critical water infrastructure initiativesEngage with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded throughout each phaseWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline requiredMinimum of 5 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required; previous project or team management experience preferredWater/wastewater experience requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredAdvanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft OfficeStrong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsDemonstrated technical proficiency in site investigation, remediation, compliance, permitting, or ecological restorationStrategic thinker with the ability to guide and motivate team activity and resolve issues with urgencyAn articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groupsExperience with project budgeting preferred; basic understanding of accounting processesActive participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredWhy You'll Love It Here:Lead challenging meaningful water infrastructure projects that support public health, environmental stewardship, and long-term community resilienceMentor and inspire emerging engineers dedicated to delivering sustainable water, wastewater, and stormwater solutionsCollaborate with talented professionals across disciplines in a flexible work environmentCurious about the impactful work our Water team is doing?
