This role partners closely with Product Management and Product Design to build scalable solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes—not just features.As a hands-on technical leader, the Director ensures products are built with strong engineering practices that balance speed, quality, security, and reliability. The role also aligns product architecture with enterprise standards while managing dependencies, risks, and compliance requirements.Description:Own technical strategy, architecture, and delivery for product teamsDesign scalable, secure, and resilient systems in cloud-native environmentsPartner with Product and Design to drive discovery, delivery, and outcomesEnsure engineering excellence across DevOps, SRE, and secure-by-design practicesAlign product architecture with enterprise standards and manage system dependenciesIdentify and manage technical risks, including security and compliance (e.g., SOX)Coach and mentor engineers, raising technical standards across teamsInfluence enterprise architecture and practices where neededRequirements6+ years of experience leading product technology teamsProven success in continuous discovery and delivery environmentsStrong expertise in system design, architecture, and cloud-native technologiesDeep understanding of DevOps, SRE, and modern engineering practicesExperience driving secure, scalable, and compliant solutionsDemonstrated ability to mentor engineers and scale technical teamsBachelor's DegreeCompany Overview:Baer provides best-in-class engagement experiences for our consultants.
