Their culture emphasizes collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.Role SummaryWe are seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced automation solutions that support critical manufacturing and processing environments. This role plays a key part in delivering end-to-end control system projects, from initial design through commissioning and client support.The Controls Engineer will develop system designs, program PLC and HMI systems, and ensure the successful deployment of automation solutions. This role also contributes to project scoping, proposal development, and client engagement while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop control system designs in alignment with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirementsProgram and configure PLCs, HMIs, and instrumentation to implement robust and efficient control logicConduct site visits to assess existing infrastructure and define requirements for accurate proposals and system designsPrepare detailed and accurate project quotes, including materials, labor, and timelinesCoordinate procurement of materials and components to support project execution schedulesLead or support startup and commissioning activities, ensuring systems operate as intendedMaintain thorough project documentation, including design specifications, code, and technical reportsCollaborate with internal teams and engage with clients to provide technical support and ensure project successKey RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline5 plus years of experience in control systems engineering, including PLC and HMI programmingStrong experience with Allen-Bradley platforms required, with exposure to Ignition or Siemens preferredExperience with SCADA systems such as FactoryTalk, Ignition, or iFixFamiliarity with process systems, including CIP, HTST, heat exchangers, pumps, and valves (nice to have)Experience with instrumentation related to flow, pressure, temperature, and level measurementStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projectsExcellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaborativelyIf you are an experienced automation professional looking to work on impactful, technically challenging projects, we encourage you to apply today.
