Interim Registered Nurse (RN)

Cassia, a nonprofit, faith-based affiliation between Augustana Care and Elim Care, is hiring anInterim Registered Nurse (RN)to join our team. In addition to generous benefits, we are offering a $5,000 Bonus!In this role, you will support assisted living sites as needed by filling in as the registered nurse. This person will provide clinical expertise and collaborate with the onsite team to help drive the success of the assisted living site. Our ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a variety of settings, including memory care, traditional assisted living, and care suites. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and has excellent communication and customer service skills.This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position.Interim Registered Nurse:Fill vacant positions as the registered nurse or other assisted living nursing positions when needed. Assist with day to day operations of the nursing department Complete assessments per regulatory schedule Identify training needs, plan, and conduct educational opportunities. Identify and respond to resident change in condition in addition to communicating changesDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships across Cassia. Provide calm and reassuring presence at the communityDocument in EHR (Eldermark) Interim Registered Nurse: Must be in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing and have current MN Nursing licenseBLS CPR training required. Experience in assisted living requiredLeadership experience preferred. Detail-oriented and self-motivatedExcellent communication and customer service skillsMust be flexible to work in memory care, traditional assisted living and care suites.
