Our culture empowers everyone to be successful and apply our full potential.Position SummaryThe Packaging Supervisor oversees daily operations on the pharmaceutical packaging area to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant production. This role manages planning, scheduling, equipment setup and operation, and provides leadership, coaching, and training to packaging team members. The Packaging Supervisor has general supervision of Building 85 during second shift which includes multiple packaging lines. This position plays a key role in maintaining productivity, quality, and adherence to cGMP and safety standards.Key Responsibilities1. Supervises daily packaging operations, including oversight of cGMP documentation, equipment setup and operation, cleaning, and maintenance. Provides direction to team members and ensures a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment. Manages labor and material resources to meet packaging schedules. May be called to supervise dispensing activities when operational needs require cross-functional support.2. Provides general supervision of Building 85 during second shift, ensuring safe, compliant, and continuous operations across assigned areas.3. Supports packaging operations by training employees, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and batch record documentation requirements.4. Collaborates with quality, engineering, production and validation teams to ensure product packaging meets specifications and regulatory requirements.5. Oversees and may operate packaging equipment as needed, including blister packers, bottle fillers, labelers, cartoners, and serialization systems. This role will be required to run packaging lines as operational needs arise.6. Coordinates workflow across multiple packaging lines and shifts to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.7.
