Main responsibilities:

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
Supervises and monitors access system, intrusion/fire alarms, emergency phones and CCTV system
Manages all incoming telephone communications from complex
Responsible for communicating emergency information to DC Security Operations
Maintains an activity log documenting all information relevant to tasks performed
Reviews all shift paperwork for completeness and accuracy, also responsible for the proper filing of all shift paperwork
Maintains records, and creates access related to the complex card access system
Conducts maintenance audits of security equipment i.e., CCTV, alarm systems etc.
Assist with Security Investigations and provide detailed information to DC Management regarding card access and CCTV video.
Documents all Loss Prevention activities at the gates/lobbies as required by established Loss Prevention procedures
Completes incident reports to document Security Loss Prevention related issues. Forwards reports to Security management/Supervision for follow up.
Responsible for emergency notification to Police and Fire departments, and dispatching security personnel for emergency response.
Monitors Yard Management System (PINC) making needed adjustments
Monitors and adjusts all inbound and outbound complex traffic, using Google Documents
Performs other related duties as assigned
Answer telephone calls, tactfully handle inquiries and transfer to appropriate party
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB: (Physical demands outlined on attached PAR sheet)
Customer Service experience required
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Security CCTV System Knowledge required
Ability to work independently/ability to work through a situation in the absence of the Loss Prevention Supervisor
Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
Strong conflict resolution skills
Ability to work effectively with all levels of associates and management
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and influence others
High degree of initiative; proven team player, excellent customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to manage confidential information
Must be able to multitask

Pay transparency language (if applicable)
The pay range is $20 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement but no less than the local minimum wage. Additional premiums for swing and grave shifts are available. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (between 7-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility).
