HR Director

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Interim HR Director to step into a high-impact leadership role during a pivotal time for the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and can bring stability, structure, and strategic support during a period of transformation. This role is based in the Western Suburbs and is slated to last for the next 6 months. Responsibilities:Lead a broad range of HR functions with an emphasis on operational excellence and day-to-day supportPartner on recruitment efforts for corporate positions across functions such as finance, IT, HR, and marketingManage employee relations matters with confidence, sound judgment, and professionalismOversee onboarding and preboarding processes, including offer letter support and serving as a key HR point of contactSupport benefits administration and core HR operations as neededAssist with HR systems workflows, approvals, and reporting activitiesHelp create a strong onboarding experience for new team members across HR and payrollPartner closely with leadership and interact effectively with executives across the businessIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes, strengthen accountability, and build a more streamlined HR functionProvide support through organizational change initiatives, including potential acquisition activityDeep, well-rounded HR leadership experience with the ability to step in and make an immediate impactPrior experience within a manufacturing environmentExperience with ADP; exposure to Oracle HCM Cloud is highly preferredM& A experience is a strong plusStrong analytical mindset with comfort working with HR data and reportingExposure to AI tools or initiatives is a plusExcellent communication skills, executive presence, and strong attention to detailA calm, proactive approach and the ability to operate independently in a changing environmentSalary Range: $125,000 - $145,000 should the role go long term.
