Registered Nurse (RN) | Long-Term Care Location: Lewiston, ME Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Long Term Care, Skilled Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: 2 years License: Valid State RN License Certifications: None specified Must-Have: Strong teamwork and communication skills Description: The RN partners with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment. The role includes providing direct and indirect care. Key aspects of the position involve working with residents diagnosed with cognitive impairments. The RN will utilize both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques. It’s essential to understand and address the behaviors often associated with cognitive impairments. The RN provides care tailored to meet the needs of residents requiring long-term placement. Additional responsibilities include serving patients recovering from various surgeries and illnesses. Nursing services may include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management. Flexibility to cover shifts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, is required.
