Job Description:Job DescriptionDegree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist supporting preschool students aged 3–5 at a specialized educational center. This full-time role involves providing essential therapy services to a manageable caseload of 25 to 30 students, helping them reach key developmental milestones in a lively, collaborative environment. Key Details:Assignment covers summer program dates from July 6, 2026, to August 14, 2026, and continues into the new school year from September 8, 2026, to October 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension into November.The schedule is 40 hours per week, entirely onsite, as remote work is not an option for this assignment.This position is to cover a maternity leave and can offer the chance to build relationships in a supportive, resource-rich school setting. Preferred Qualifications and Experience:Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist.Experience providing PT services within school-based or pediatric settings, particularly with preschool-aged children.Familiarity with developing and implementing IEP goals and documentation for students with diverse abilities.Strong skills in collaboration with classroom staff, therapists, and families.Ability to engage and encourage participation in creative, age-appropriate activities. Core Responsibilities:Deliver direct physical therapy interventions based on individualized education plans.Conduct evaluations and document progress in compliance with school and state requirements.Participate actively in team meetings and communicate effectively with educators and caregivers.Promote functional motor skills, independence, and participation within the educational environment.
