Unarmed Security Officer - Float

This is a float position. At Paradox Security, our Float Officer's get first dibs at a full-time position when it becomes available. Float Guards are given hours as needed to fill shifts for call-offs, scheduling conflicts, or new clients. Float Officer's must have weekend availability. Responsibilities: - Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment - Conduct security checks and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and alarms, and take appropriate action - Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries or concerns - Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related incidents or observations Qualifications: - Previous experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, or military is preferred - Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively - Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus - Familiarity with surveillance techniques and equipment Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
