Juvenile Justice Supervision And Child Welfare Case ManagementThis position requires a highly responsible individual who will provide integrated juvenile justice supervision and child welfare case management for youth who are dually involved in delinquency and dependency in Miami-Dade County. This position requires a dual certification as a Juvenile Probation Officer (JPO) and Child Welfare Case Manager (CWCM) and perform all functions required under applicable Florida Statutes, Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ)/ Department of Children and Families (DCF) administrative rules, policies, and contract requirements. The Unified Case Manager (UCM) shall partner with an Intensive In-Home Multidisciplinary Behavioral Health Team to coordinate treatment, ensure youth compliance with court orders and supervision conditions. Dual certification as a Juvenile Probation Officer (JPO) and Child Welfare Care Manager (CWCM) (or ability to obtain/maintain both) A minimum of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent is required. 4 years' experience working directly with adolescents in criminal justice, social services or education. A related degree is preferred. Related degrees (Behavioral Sciences; Community Development; Criminology/Criminal Justice; Education; Health Science; Human Development; Human Sciences; Political Science; Public Administration; Psychology; Social Policy; Sociology; Social Work; Law) Knowledge of Chapter 39, Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) rules, Department of Children and Families (DCF) policies and Safety Methodology Valid Driver's License is required.
