The Lead Installer will oversee and execute the installation of fabricated steel and metalwork on commercial and residential projects. Key responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, managing on-site installation teams, troubleshooting project challenges, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines. Additionally, the role includes communication with clients, coordinating with fabrication teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality installations that meet specification and industry standards.QualificationsProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and structural plansSkilled in installation of structural steel, railings, stair systems, and other metal assembliesAbility to lead on-site teams and manage installation projectsFabrication Experience 5+ yearsKnowledge of welding techniques, measuring tools, and equipment operationUnderstanding of construction safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe worksiteStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to address on-the-ground challengesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for team coordination and client interactionsPrevious experience in steel fabrication or metal installation roles is a plusPhysical ability to perform duties such as lifting heavy materials and working at heights safelyValid driver's license and reliable transportation
