Our Career Technical Education (CTE) Center provides invaluable opportunities in fields such as automotive, welding, manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, construction, and cabinetry.AVAILABLE POSITION - Extended School Year (ESY) Special Education TeacherLocation - Jefferson Elementary, 318 S Payne Street, New Ulm, MN 56073Qualifications:Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education, ABS or ASD preferredExperience working with students with diverse learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needsKnowledge of IEP implementation, data collection, and progress monitoringKnowledge of service delivery models and supporting the continuum of special educationAbility to relate and communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators from diverse culturesAbility to problem solve with staff and teamsEssential Responsibilities:Deliver instruction aligned to each student's IEP goals and ESY service planImplement specialized instructional strategies, accommodations, and behavior supportsAbility to train and guide paraprofessionalsKnowledge of district special education programsUnderstanding and experience in assessment and data-driven decision-makingCollect and document data on student progress toward IEP goalsCollaborate with related service providers and ESY staffMaintain compliance with IDEA, state statute, district policy, and student confidentiality requirementsCommunicate appropriately with families regarding schedules and general progressParticipate in required ESY planning and closing documentationStart Date - As agreed upon; to be determinedCompensation Package - Position offers a wage range of $34.24 - $57.73 per hour, based on education and experience.
