Associate BuyerThe Associate Buyer will perform purchasing transactions for multiple components across several commodities to support engineering organizations with Qualcomm (QESR). The individual will generate & issue purchase orders; run and follow-up on open order reports; expedite requests to suppliers via phone/email to ensure timely receipt of material(s) to support customer requirements. The Associate Buyer will help Purchase order problem resolution including order receiving issues, A/P issues, material returns, and non-conforming materials. They will interface with multiple internal customers & support teams. All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company. Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of ERP systems Familiarity with supply base management is desirable Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications: VBA experience Experience managing commodities Semiconductor industry experience Educational Requirements: Bachelors of Arts/Science - Business Administration, Supply Chain Management Open/Flexible to: Supply Chain education and Analytical background as we have been successful bringing in folks with this background.
