Job Description COMPENSATIONLearn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.$19.00-$22.00/hrSeasonal, hourlySUMMARYThe Swim Lesson Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our swim lessons. This includes overseeing the logistics and providing mentorship to the swim instructors to help them excel.Your mission is to create an atmosphere where every guest has a positive and enjoyable experience. Whether they're first-time swimmers or those looking to refine their skills, you'll be there to guide them through the aquatic journey.Working closely with the Facility Manager, you'll receive specialized training tailored to the unique features of the facility. This collaboration ensures that you're well-equipped to lead and contribute to the success of the center. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESReview and confirm the daily swim lesson rosterEffectively communicate program and curriculum goals to the familiesService as a point of contact for swim instructors during lessonsInstruct weekly swim lessons in the water and provide in-water support for other lessons as neededApply feedback from the Aquatics Facility Manager to improve lesson qualityCollaborate with instructors mid-lesson and post-lesson with feedback to enhance their coachingApprove swim lesson graduation for studentsRunning and teaching Parent and Me lessons as neededOverseeing and running the Aqua Aerobics programsProfessionally document detailed reports, comments, and other interactions with staff and customersPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsMinimumPrevious swim instructor experienceMust possess, or be able to obtain/maintain a StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certificationCandidate must be outgoing, responsible, and reliableTeach swim lessons at least once a weekConsistently available Monday-Thursday from 3:30p-7:00p and Saturdays 9:00a-12:00pPreferred6+ months of swim instructor experiencePossesses knowledge of Jackrabbit Technologies and/or OneTeam360StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certificationPhysical Requirements Ability to teach swim lessons in the water for up to 8 hoursAbility to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job and to move or lift up to 50 poundsMust be physically able to rescue someone drowning or injured in the waterMay be exposed to prolonged periods of being outdoorsBenefitsWHAT SETS PREMIER AQUATICS APART?Exciting Opportunities: Immerse yourself in a career that's not just about teaching swim lessons – it's about CREATING memorable experiences by the water.Professional Development: Elevate your skills with our exclusive leadership training and safety credentials, designed to boost your career and set you apart.Build Your Resume: We're not just offering a job; we're offering a pathway to enhancing your resume and college applications.
