Job Title: Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: Irvine CAContract Length: 12 Months Plus extension Client : Medical Device ManufacturerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled engineering resource with strong expertise in SolidWorks, CAD design, GD&T, fixture development, and fixture qualification.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in:Advanced SolidWorks and 3D CAD modelingStrong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)Design, development, and validation of manufacturing fixtures and toolingFixture qualification, installation, and validation in production environmentsExperience working on transfer projects and manufacturing ramp-up activitiesStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM)This role involves supporting a project transfer with Edwards (California), ensuring smooth transition of design and manufacturing processes, and validating tooling readiness for production.
