A Mixologist is a communicative, innovative, and organized individual, keeping up with beverage trends, to entertain, educate, make drink recommendations for an exceptional guest experience. Requirements:Reliable TransportationBackground CheckFlexibility of Schedule21 yrs of ageTIPS certification (at completion of training) Qualifications:Minimum one year serving/bartending in full service restaurantsHas an interest in beer, wine and cocktail knowledge Is willing to lift and carry up to 20 lbs Has physical stamina for minimum 6 hour shiftAbility to handle multiple tasks Ability to train individualsLearner/Coachable Responsibilities:Greets and seats guestsAnswers phone calls and takes togo orders (in absence of a host or to-go coordinator) Communicates specials, features, and promotionsSells add-ons and premium beverage/food itemsHelps Assistant Manager in creating new cocktails and standardized recipes for menuTakes timely and correct orders and delivers meals Handles cash and tips accuratelyPerforms company's 10 Steps of Service and maintains a lively atmosphere (lights/music/tv)Maintains a clean dining room and restrooms during service (in absence of a busser)Performs daily opening, shift, and closing duties (includes beer logs for Pizza Peel)Communicates restaurant operational needs to managersParticipates in and maintains positive relationships across FOH and BOH teamsParticipates in ongoing restaurant training and scheduled restaurant events Benefits:50% off meal on duty and 20% off duty5 vacation days (after 1 year of employment with 30 hrs or more a week)
