We are seeking an experienced Quality Technician to join our Suffield team. This role is critical in ensuring product quality for precision-manufactured components in a highly regulated environment.You'll bring strong technical inspection skills, the ability to interpret complex drawings and tolerances, and experience working in industries where quality standards are non-negotiable (aerospace, medical, or similar). This role also serves as a key partner to production—helping identify issues, support root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.What You'll DoPerform detailed inspections on precision metal components with tight tolerancesInterpret blueprints, specifications, and GD&T requirementsUtilize precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and gagesProgram and operate CMM equipment (e.g., Micro-Vu, Wenzel or similar systems)Document inspection results and ensure compliance with quality standardsPartner with production teams to identify and resolve quality issuesSupport root cause analysis and corrective actionsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancementsProvide guidance and support to less experienced team members as neededAs a Group Lead, you'll also:Function as a working lead, balancing job responsibilities with team coordinationLead/support daily production execution and workflow coordination Acts as a primary escalation point for quality issuesOperate with high ownership of process performance (no formal people management authority)What We're Looking For5–10 years of quality inspection experience in a precision manufacturing environmentExperience inspecting metal components with tight tolerancesBackground in aerospace, medical device, or other regulated industries (ISO 13485 or similar)Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skillsHands-on experience with:Calipers, micrometers, and precision gagingCMM operation (Micro-Vu, Wenzel, or similar)Ability to work independently and make sound quality decisionsPrior experience in a lead or informal leadership role preferredWhy Join UsWork on high-precision, high-impact productsStable, team-oriented environmentOpportunities to contribute to process improvements and quality excellenceCompetitive compensation aligned to experience and marketMonday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (flexibility to start shift schedule earlier or later)PIef6ade3181bb-31181-40397748
