We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team.Job Title: Accounting Assistant IIILocation: Bloomington, MNSchedule: Hybrid position, on site on Tuesdays & WednesdaysDuration: 11 MonthsResponsibilities:Timely and accurate review of invoices using financial & document management systemsReview invoices to ensure all financial information is identifiedDemonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills to help resolve invoice issuesAbility to operate independentlyMonitor and work to perform departmental and individual processing metricsAbility to perform other duties as assignedClearly and professionally communicate company policies and proceduresDevelop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexitySupport month end requirementsThe ability to multitask and work independently to meet service level agreementsBasic Qualifications for Accounting Assistant 3:High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of work experienceExperience in Account Payable or General AccountingIntermediate skills in Excel and thorough knowledge of other Microsoft applications including Word and OutlookExcellent customer experience/skill set and mindsetStrong attention to detail, accounting oriented knowledge base, and the ability to multitask, manage time, and prioritize.Preferred Qualifications for Accounting Assistant 3:Costpoint ExperiencePerceptive Content ExperienceOCR ExperienceSAP ExperienceOpenText VIM ExperienceDegree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or other related field.Experience in a financial shared services environmentGov't contracting experience.Advance Excel SkillsUnderstanding of FAR, GAAP, and SOX requirementsAmpcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
