Job Description We are hiring Machine Operators and Production Assemblers for a large automotive manufacturing facility in Clinton, TN. This is a great opportunity to join a growing manufacturing team producing high-quality aluminum automotive components.Pay: $18.00/hour + night shift differentialShifts: 12-hour shifts — 5:00 AM–5:00 PM or 5:00 PM–5:00 AMPosition SummaryProduction Team Members will work in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment operating machinery and assisting with the casting, machining, inspection, and assembly of aluminum automotive components . Team members will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, meeting production goals, and safely moving materials throughout the production process.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSafely operate production machinery and manufacturing equipment according to established procedures.Monitor equipment during operation and notify leadership of machine malfunctions, unusual sounds, defects, or other production issues.Load and unload raw materials, components, and finished parts from machinery and production lines.Assist with the production of aluminum automotive components through casting, machining, and assembly processes.Perform repetitive production and assembly tasks while maintaining consistent quality and productivity.Inspect parts throughout the production process to identify defects, damage, incorrect dimensions, or other quality concerns.Use basic measuring and inspection equipment as required to verify product specifications.Read and follow work instructions, production specifications, diagrams, and other manufacturing documentation.Accurately record production information, measurements, quantities, and quality results.Maintain awareness of daily production quotas and work toward meeting or exceeding established goals.Separate, identify, and properly handle defective or non-conforming parts.Package, label, stack, and move finished products and materials as directed.Use proper lifting and material-handling techniques when moving parts and materials.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout the shift.Follow all company safety procedures, personal protective equipment requirements, and manufacturing policies.Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, quality personnel, and other team members.Work cooperatively with the production team to maintain a steady workflow.Perform other production-related duties as assigned.QualificationsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and concentrationAbility to read and record numerical informationComfortable working around manufacturing equipment and machineryAbility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as requiredReliable attendance and dependable transportationPrevious manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, or automotive experience is a plus but may not be required\nCompany Description When you work with AtWork, you're not just submitting an application and hoping someone calls.
