CNC Machine Programmer
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Programmer to develop, modify, and optimize machine programs for manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, machine programming experience, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities
Create, edit, and optimize machine programs for manufacturing equipment.
Set up and maintain CNC, automated, or robotic machine programs as required.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
Troubleshoot programming, equipment, and production issues.
Test machine programs and make adjustments to improve efficiency and quality.
Maintain accurate records of machine programs, revisions, and production data.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet manufacturing goals.
Perform software updates and backups of machine programs.
Ensure compliance with company safety standards and operating procedures.
Assist in training operators on machine programming and operation.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
Experience with machine programming, CNC programming, PLC programming, or automated manufacturing systems.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to work with manufacturing software and machine control systems.
Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and manufacturing practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CAD/CAM software.
Knowledge of Raptor – Omni win and AutoCAD is a plus.
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
