CNC Lathe Machinist I - 1st Shift

Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist ILocation: Garden Grove, CAShift: A Shift (1st) | Mon-Fri, 6:00am - 2:30pmPay Range: $21.90-$24.87/hr (+$2/hr shift differential)SUMMARYOperate CNC lathe machines to manufacture fittings, special products, and revised components while ensuring quality, precision, and adherence to specifications.ESSENTIAL DUTIESSet up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes per blueprints and work instructions.Maintain part dimensions using precision measuring tools.Verify part conformity; replace/align cutting tools as needed.Report machine malfunctions and safety issues.Communicate machine status and setup progress during shift turnovers.Perform SPC checks and use shop floor systems.Follow safety, environmental, and work procedures.Support process improvement and train junior operators.QUALIFICATIONSU.S. Person under ITAR required.High School Diploma/GED; technical schooling preferred.1+ years CNC machining or fittings manufacturing experience.Basic CNC operation and G-Code understanding.Proficiency with SPC and shop floor software.CNC Machining certification preferred.
