Tax Senior Manager

We’re building a forward-thinking tax function and seeking a Senior Tax Manager to help us scale efficiently, strategically, and compliantly.Position Overview:We’re looking for a hands-on and strategic Senior Tax Manager to lead our income tax provision process, support complex and high-impact ad-hoc projects, and help drive automation and process improvements across the tax function. This is a fully remote position with high visibility across the organization and regular interaction with leadership, finance, and external advisors.Key Responsibilities:Lead the quarterly and annual income tax provision (ASC 740) process, including calculations, documentation, and internal reportingManage external audit requirements and ensure SOX-compliant controls over tax provision processesPartner cross-functionally to support business-driven tax projects, including M&A, entity structuring, transfer pricing, and state nexus reviewsOwn the implementation of tax automation tools and process improvements, partnering with Finance Systems and IT to streamline data flows and reduce manual workAnalyze and interpret new tax legislation and accounting guidance, assessing its impact on the businessAssist with federal and state compliance review, working closely with outsourced providersProvide mentorship to junior team members and assist in the development of scalable internal documentation and workflowsQualifications:CPA and MST or equivalent advanced degree preferredMinimum of 6 years; Max of 10 years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax, with a strong focus on ASC 740Proven experience managing a global or multi-entity tax provision in-house or as a client advisorStrong analytical, project management, and Excel/data skills; Alteryx, Power BI, or other automation tools a plusAbility to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsALL APPLICANTS MUST CURRENTLY LIVE IN THE UNITED STATESWhy Join Us?Fully remote – work from anywhere in the U.S.High-impact role with executive visibilityOpportunity to help build and scale a modern tax functionCompetitive compensation, equity, and benefitsFast-growing, mission-driven company with a collaborative cultureJob ID:20951ApplyFirst NameLast NameEmailCell PhoneResumeAccepted file types are DOC, DOCX, PDF.
