Electrical Design Engineer

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer – Schematic Capture & PCB DesignLocation: Addison, TX (Onsite)We're hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to support end-to-end electronic hardware design for a leading engineering services client. This role covers schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware validation for analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems.Key Responsibilities:Perform circuit design and schematic capture for analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronicsDevelop PCB layouts meeting electrical, thermal, EMC/EMI, and manufacturability requirementsSupport prototype builds, board bring-up, debugging, and root cause analysisCreate technical documentation (design docs, test procedures, qualification reports)Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering teamsRequired Skills:Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field5+ years of hardware design experienceHands-on experience with Cadence Allegro or OrCAD (mandatory)Experience with Altium Designer is a plusMulti-layer PCB design and signal integrity knowledgeExperience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, DMMsStrong documentation and communication skillsPreferred:Aerospace, defense, medical device, or automotive electronics backgroundEMI/EMC design experienceDO-160 familiarityFPGA/embedded hardware exposure
