General PurposeThe Baraboo Police Department is seeking qualified candidates to join our team as a Patrol Officer. Our department strives to protect and serve our community, working with community members to address problems. General police functions, include but are not limited to: protecting life and property, general patrol, criminal law and traffic code enforcement, city ordinance enforcement, and maintaining public peace.We have one upcoming vacancy and will be establishing an eligibility list for any future vacancies.ACADEMY SPONSORSHIPThe Baraboo Police Department is now accepting applications for candidates with at least 60 college credits, who have not yet been through a Wisconsin LESB-approved academy.
