This role sits at the intersection of marketing technology and software engineering, helping build and maintain the infrastructure that powers customer communications across email, SMS, and push notification channels.You will work within a highly collaborative, senior-level engineering team focused on delivering scalable platform capabilities that enable marketing teams to execute personalized campaigns, customer journeys, and experimentation initiatives at scale.This is a long-term product and platform engagement operating in an agile, continuous-delivery environment where engineers contribute directly to business-critical capabilities and platform evolution.Responsibilities:Build, configure, and maintain email, SMS, and push notification infrastructure across owned media platforms.Develop and support campaign activation workflows, including audience ingestion, content management, and channel delivery pipelines.Implement and maintain personalization capabilities by connecting customer data sources with communication channels.Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and engineering stakeholders to deliver scalable campaign solutions.Design and maintain integrations between marketing platforms, customer data systems, and internal services.Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and support incident resolution across communication channels.Contribute to platform migration, modernization, and consolidation initiatives.Participate in agile ceremonies and deliver solutions through a continuous deployment model.Ensure data quality, campaign reliability, and operational excellence across the marketing technology ecosystem.Required Qualifications:Solid years of experience working with Marketing Technology (MarTech), Customer Engagement, CRM, or Messaging Platforms.Hands-on experience with platforms such as: Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Zeta OMP, Braze, Attentive, Bluecore, or similar ESP/SMS platforms.Experience building and supporting campaign activation workflows and customer communication journeys.Strong understanding of audience segmentation, campaign tracking, and customer engagement strategies.Experience integrating systems through REST APIs, webhooks, or event-driven architectures.Familiarity with customer data flows and personalization implementations involving CRM or CDP platforms.Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and engineering teams.Nice to Have Skills:Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) such as:AmperitySegmentTealiumAdobe Experience PlatformExperience with A/B testing frameworks, experimentation platforms, or feature flag systems.Retail or e-commerce industry experience.Cloud experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Familiarity with data pipelines, customer analytics, and marketing attribution concepts.Experience supporting large-scale, multi-brand communication ecosystems.Avenue Code reinforces its commitment to privacy and to all the principles guaranteed by the most accurate global data protection laws, such as GDPR, LGPD, CCPA and CPRA. A reasonable estimate of the current range for a Senior Integration Engineer is from $45 to $50 yearly.
