Assistant Land Development Manager | Roseville, CA - Leading National Homebuilder Land Development | Horizontal Construction | Grading & Utilities | Entitlements & Permitting A leading national homebuilder is seeking an Assistant Land Development Manager to support the execution of residential land development projects from pre-construction through completion. This role works closely with the Land Development Manager and cross-functional teams to help drive schedules, budgets, and field coordination across multiple active communities. Key Responsibilities:Assist in managing day-to-day land development activities including grading, wet/dry utilities, paving, and off-site improvementsSupport project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking to ensure projects stay on time and within budgetCoordinate with civil engineers, consultants, municipalities, and subcontractorsAssist with bid packages, contract administration, and buyout processesTrack permits, entitlements, and agency approvals to maintain project timelinesConduct site walks to monitor progress, quality, and safety complianceHelp resolve field issues and coordinate solutions with internal and external teamsMaintain project documentation, reports, and communication across stakeholders Qualifications:2-6 years of experience in land development, civil engineering, or related fieldExperience with residential homebuilding or land development projects preferredExposure to horizontal construction (grading, utilities, street improvements, etc.)Understanding of permits, entitlements, and municipal processesStrong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projectsProficiency with construction management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, etc.) is a plusBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred This is a strong opportunity to join a well-established builder with a consistent pipeline of residential communities and long-term growth potential.
