Responsibilities include identifying, documenting, and troubleshooting user issues to resolution and maintaining customer satisfaction. Candidates must focus on relationship management and have the ability to coordinate with the required resources to respond to complex IT requirements. If you have the experience and a desire to learn and grow, then we would love for you to apply.What does the job entail?Performing server implementations and migrationsComplex firewall configurationPerforming email migrationsCloud server configuration and managementExperience troubleshooting email-related issuesCoordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgradesConfiguration, management, and troubleshooting skills for routers, switches, and firewallsTroubleshooting and resolving LAN/WAN performance, connectivity, and related network problemsProviding remote and on-site IT support to small and medium-sized businesses.Administering LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measuresOther duties may be added as defined.What are the skill sets, qualities, and experiences required for this job?Thorough understanding of Windows Server technologiesExperience with: Server 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022/2025Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace/G SuiteAbility to setup and troubleshoot networking hardware (i.e. firewalls, VPNs, wireless, etc.)Experience with Windows 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 & 2025Server rolesThorough understanding of client/server applications architectureExperienced with advanced networking, including VLAN, Firewalls, VPNs, etc.Mac and/or Linux ExperienceApplicant must have/be:Available to work full-timeProfessional and extremely reliableOutgoing personalityAbility to provide top-level customer supportAbility to multitask and not be easily distractedAbility to work through complex problemsStrong verbal, written, and organizational skillsAbility to meticulously document actions and technical settingsFlexible schedule as some work must be done after hours or on weekendsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to access tight spaces (under desks, in server closets, etc.)The following are not required but would be a plus:MCITP, MCTS, CCNA, A+, Network+ or similar certification(s)Experience with ConnectWise, Nilear or similar ticketing systemExperience with NinjaOne or similar RMM toolAbility to perform server migrations/upgrades for small officesMost clients are located in the Irvine area, but range across Orange County, San Diego and LA.This position is for someone that has a passion for computers, networking, and solving problems.
