Sr. Project ManagerOn site in Tallahassee, FLFull-time Permanent RoleCompensation: $110,000 to $150,000 annual salaryMust HavesA bachelor's or master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical EngineeringCertified Project Management Professional, PMPProficiency in various project management tools or programs (Primavera, Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.)Experience in large construction projects or facility build outsPluses:Chemical industry facility project work or constructionCertification in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologiesDay to DayA client is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to oversee a collaborative project to construct a pilot plant at the Mosaic Riverview facility in Florida. This project is supported by a federal grant and management of the grant obligations and participating teams is required. The candidate selected is expected to coordinate teams involving University personnel, EPC firms involved in the construction of the pilot plant, vendors providing contractual services at the site and the site owners.Responsibilities include:Demonstrated expertise in all foundational aspects of project planning and controls, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.Develop budgets and schedules that conform to project requirements.Manage day-to-day workflow for the teams working on this project in separate workspaces.Track project milestones, deliverables, and risks.Schedule and coordinate meetings with partner organizations.Oversee and report performance and progress to the granting agency, principal investigators and stakeholders at the participating organizations.Mentor and supervise staff and provide regular direction and feedback on performance.Ensure effective collaboration between teams.Build relationships to foster trust, collaboration, and a positive climate to achieve common goals.Ensure that all procedures are being followed by teams.Act as the primary contact on all project issues.Demonstrate commitment to personal responsibility and value for safety.
