Commercial Advisor II

Description: MAIN FUNCTIONS Consults with organization to provide specific knowledge and expertise related to commercial or business environment.Serves as subject matter expert to develop, assess operations or current commercial strategy, guide client decisions and make recommendations. Improve organizational effectiveness via commercial practice improvement initiatives.Promote fit-for-purpose use of commercial practices, standards and tools. Support prioritization of commercial opportunities or negotiations on behalf of the business.Moderate to minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable on commercial or business subject matter expertise. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSStrong interpersonal and analytical skills. Commercial or business expertise related to subject.On procurement team supporting turnaround activities.Collaborating between business units and global procurement to source equipment, materials, and craft labor.Engage with contract managers for cost reduction, value assessment, other recommendations.Build and maintain supplier relationships. *Required Skills*5 plus years of relevant experienceProcurement background in refinery/chem plant space,Familiar with Ariba, SAP S/4 HANAPower BI *Preferred Skills* Bachelor's degreeTurnaround experience *Work Location/Schedule/Travel* Baton Rouge; M-F 7:00am to 4:00pm with likelihood of OT; Stateside travel 2-3 days per quarter Contact: Carolyn (985) 603-1770 or Carolyn.odonnell@cenergyintl.com
