On our Finishing team, that’s your mission.When you’ll work2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 pm – 3:00 amYour growth pathWe offer a clear progression from contributing teammate to trusted expert and mentor.Level 1 FinisherServe as a helper on Press Brakes, Shears, or Hot Melt machinery.Assist main Finishers with panel shearing, edge bending, and polyamide pouring.Use a measuring tape and calipers; perform math with fractions, decimals, multiplication, and addition.Carry out visual inspections to confirm quality requirements are met.Support continuous improvement and flex with shifting priorities and schedules.Help the department by taking on work at equal or lower job grades as needed.Actively promote Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors.Level 2 FinisherExhibit full capability in all Level 1 responsibilities.Operate a Press Brake, Shear, or Hot Melt Machine as the main Finisher, setting up equipment and dialing in settings for quality output.Provide clear direction to your helper and communicate the assistance required.Train Level I Finishers and those preparing to step into Level II.Model Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors.Perform other duties as assigned.Level 3 FinisherQuickly preset and set up all Press Brakes, Shears, and Hot Melt Machines; act as main Finisher across equipment.Understand, comply with, and help develop ISO standard operating procedures and work instructions.Drive LEAN and world-class improvement activities.Coach and train Level I and Level II Finishers.Consistently demonstrate Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors.Perform all other duties as assigned.What you’ll needHigh school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience/training; or an equivalent blend of education and experience.Your safety commitment (EHS)Learn and adhere to EHS policies, rules, and work instructions.Attend all required EHS training.Wear the specified PPE at all times.Protect yourself, co-workers, and visitors by engaging in risk assessments, workplace inspections, corrective actions, and safety observations.Report incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions/acts, and hazards; STOP WORK if imminent danger exists.Maintain a clean, orderly work area and keep equipment in proper condition.If you take pride in precision, enjoy mentoring others, and thrive in a safety-first culture, you’ll feel at home here.
