IT Systems Administrator

To support our continued business growth, R. Yoder Construction, Inc. is seeking a reliable, motivated, detail-oriented IT System Administrator to join our team. The IT System Administrator will manage, maintain, and optimize our organization’s IT infrastructure while leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and automation to improve business operations. This role combines traditional systems administration responsibilities with modern AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, security, and decision-making across the organization. IT System Administrator Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, servers, networks, and IT systems. Provide technical support to staff (hardware, software, and network issues). Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across organizational platforms. Ensure system availability, reliability, performance, and security. Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and AI-assisted tools. Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and data protection procedures. Support cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments. Use AI-powered monitoring, analytics, and automation tools to predict system issues, optimize workloads, and streamline operations. Evaluate and recommend AI-based solutions to improve internal business processes and IT workflows. Collaborate with business units to integrate AI tools that enhance productivity, reporting, and decision-making. Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and AI-enabled workflows. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues. Ensure compliance with security policies, data governance standards, and industry best practices. IT Administrator Requirements and Qualifications: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 2-4 years of experience as an IT System Administrator or similar role. Knowledge of Windows/Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint, networking, and security. Experience with backups, firewalls, and antivirus systems. Familiarity with AI-assisted IT tools, automation platforms, or machine learning–based monitoring systems. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Proficiency in Windows operating systems. Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
