Data Coordinator

Responsible for maintaining research and quality databases, and develop standard and custom reports from these databases, monitoring, analyzing and participating in recommending improvements. The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring metrics of success and developing and keeping current a scorecard for distribution.The incumbent may implement or assist with implementing solution design decisions,improvements and tailor the designated application to meet the requirements of the end users. Help in the development of policies and procedures as appropriate identifies and escalate issues as appropriate. Assist in end-user training and troubleshooting. Assume projects as assigned.Minimum EducationBachelor's Degree (Required)Minimum Work Experience2 years Relevant experience (Required)Required Skills/KnowledgeExcellent organizational, project coordination and data management skills.Other essentials skills include attention to detail and accuracy; expertise with Microsoft Office componentsAbility to work with various types of people and to work under deadlinesExcellent verbal communication skills.Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office. ACCESS strongly preferred.Functional AccountabilitiesData Analysis and Reporting Manage and organize departmental quality and research reports as requested by the Director or the Manager and establish mechanisms to distribute summaries of the reports. Create effective query reports and merge to pull information from databases as requested; manipulate and format data in an appropriate reporting style. Provide regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports using the information stored in database and applications. Work with other members of the division to identify new reporting needs. Generate annual reports and manage initial review of data accuracy. Data Education Assist in end-user training and troubleshooting to effectively educate end-user to understand their clinical data. Assist in the development of new databases and database applications, and the maintenance and enhancement of existing ones.
