We’re looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative with a strong background in equipment rental or distribution sales. If you understand the pace, priorities, and customer needs in these industries, you’ll fit right in.Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative will play a vital role in managing and expanding customer relationships, processing orders, and identifying opportunities for growth. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for contractors, distributors, and rental companies (equipment and/or party) — providing knowledgeable product recommendations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while developing new accounts
Manage inbound sales inquiries, quotes, and orders by phone and email (along with existing CSRs)
Proactively follow up with customers to identify needs and upsell products or services
Collaborate with the outside sales team to support key accounts and sales initiatives
Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate products or solutions
Input and manage sales data in a CRM system with accuracy and attention to detail
Stay up to date on product lines, pricing, promotions, and inventory levels
Assist with order fulfillment coordination, returns, and customer issue resolution
Qualifications
3+ years of inside sales experience in the equipment or party rental industry or industrial/distribution environment
Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, or related product categories
Proven success in developing customer relationships and driving sales growth
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in quotes, orders, and documentation
Familiarity with CRM and order management systems
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
