Position Summary
The Bilingual HR Generalist will own the outcome of HR processes ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness while providing guidance to staff supporting recruiting and payroll activities.
What You’ll Do
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation
Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance and proper documentation
Administer HRIS and maintain system integrity, including HR system implementations, EDI maintenance, and carrier connection feeds
Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all HR systems and records
Serve as liaison with external benefits providers
Support benefits enrollment and related events
Administer day-to-day benefits activities and leave management
Oversee payroll support and provide guidance to staff assisting with payroll; ensure timely and compliant processing
Support full-cycle recruiting in partnership with hiring managers
Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee engagement programs
Respond to routine HR inquiries from employees regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and HR programs
Participate in employee relations matters including disciplinary actions and terminations
Support performance review processes and documentation
Participate in the preparation and execution of training and development initiatives across the organization
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Assist with policy development and updates
Perform other HR-related duties and projects assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Minimum of 3 years of professional HR experience, preferably in warehouse, logistics, cold storage, or manufacturing environments
Execution-focused with strong ownership and follow-through
Ability to guide/support staff without direct supervisory authority
Knowledge of HR operations, payroll, benefits, HRIS, and compliance
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Professional discretion and confidentiality
Comfortable working in fast-paced, operational environments
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
