Hotel General Manager

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, with a focus on guest relations and customer service. As a Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience while maintaining high standards of service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities - Manage the front desk operations, including overseeing the night audit process to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall satisfaction. - Develop and manage budgets to optimize hotel performance while maintaining quality service. - Train, supervise, and evaluate hotel staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. - Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences. - Monitor hotel occupancy rates and adjust pricing strategies accordingly to maximize revenue. - Implement marketing strategies to promote hotel services and attract new guests. - Maintain knowledge of local attractions, events, and services to provide recommendations to guests. Qualifications - Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. - Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations. - Experience with budgeting and financial management in a hotel setting. - Familiarity with resort operations is preferred but not required. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Hotel General Manager will be responsible for being on call and willing to fill-in shifts if there are no employees available to fill the shift.
