Manager Learning Management Systems
The LMS Manager is responsible for managing the needs assessment, design, and development of learning software to meet the training needs of our dealer network. This position be responsible for managing and maintaining the learning management system, keeping it up to date and enabling training for technicians and other Generac products. They will be responsible for managing and maintaining the learning management system.Essential DutiesManagement of LMS SystemOptimizing and keeping system updated for ease of use and customer experienceSystem set up to integrate with other inside business systems (SAP, Salesforce etc)Implementation of automation to create a best-in-class customer experience·Adapting, Testing and posting new content into systemPrepare curriculum for LMS style of educationTroubleshooting administrative and user technical issuesCollaborate cross-functionally to create and maintain company-wide instructional standards and best practicesManagement of TeamDesigns and directs the work of the team. Selects, coaches and develops staff. Sets clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team. Manages performance-- recognizing achievement, providing feedback and administering progressive discipline when necessary.Manage the Instructional designers to convert content and create online course materials for Service and others as needed.Manage the team that take the calls and emails from the Service training call centerDirects the team to provide the best-in-class customer experienceService Training Call CenterEvaluate processes to be efficient and drive to provide exceptional customer experienceRespond to calls and emails utilizing standard process and proceduresMaintain monthly and quarterly call metrics for the business to usKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Powerpoint and/or LMS Development tools.Excellent verbal, writing, and presentation skillsInstructional Design knowledgeMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience5 years of experience in learning and development including system management and content creation3 years of progressive leadership experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience with online training and certificationsExperience with LMS and Business SystemsOther Duties As AssignedDevelop policies and procedures to establish consistent use of the system Creation of reports to track system performance and useDevelop reporting pertinent to the dealers to track and manage their employees to maintain certification level
