Your ability to lead dealers, enforce gaming regulations, and provide exceptional guest service helps create a safe, fair, and engaging environment for every player. Casino & Hotel's high service standards, you help protect company assets, resolve guest concerns, and maintain the professional atmosphere that keeps players returning.ResponsibilitiesReview staffing levels to maintain operational effectivenessControlling cards and equipmentResponsible for the supervision and performance of the poker dealersDevelopment of staff, evaluating, hiring and trainingAssists Poker Floor Supervisor/Greeter with monitoring with reviewing and managing the department's promotions and tournamentsReview poker room activities and promotional status with Director of PokerAssists Poker Floor Supervisor/Greeter with monitoring and adjusting performance to local competitionExcellent customer serviceEnsure the safety and security of guests and employeesOther duties as assignedSkills to Help You Succeed:Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and resultsAbility to solve complex problemsKnowledgeable of specified games and gaming regulationsAbility to add monies and chipsGood public relations/guest service skillsAbility to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environmentAbility to accurately complete paperwork and formsComplete, perform and understand basic mathematical functionsKnowledge of company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act and internal controlsComplete knowledge of all facilities available to guests on property.Always maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude with use of facial expressions and knowledge of all special events and promotional activitiesAbility to maintain mental concentration for significant periods of timeBasic computer skillsManagement abilities demonstrated in managing the Poker Room operationsMaintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnelOral and written communication skillsWillingness to assume responsibility relative to the performance of the table gamesObtainment of departmental budget and goalsEffective managing of the staffAccuracy in completing assigned duties, paperwork, and reportsKnowledge of state gaming laws and regulationsQualificationsMust-Haves:One (1) to two (2) years' experience as a poker dealer or poker floor supervisor with a four (4) year degree in related fields or equivalent work experienceTechnical school education in dealing specified gamesMust be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.Physical Requirements:Must be able to carry a tray.High volume, 24, hour liquor and beverage service.Loud, high-energy work environment.Working Conditions:24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.What We OfferPerks We Offer You:Comprehensive group health benefits for full-time and part-time Team Members and their eligible dependents.
