Materials / Product Engineering Liaison (Deviations / MCN Coordinator)This position is to work within the Materials Supply Team as a Materials / Product Engineering Liaison (Deviations / MCN Coordinator).Responsibilities:Assist Materials Supply Planners and Supply Continuity with supporting production in the supply of purchased raw materials to the production line.Attend the Materials Warroom daily to give updates for critical parts and receive priority actions.Provide liaison assistance between the Supply team and engineering and quality to identify alternative products to use within purchased materials to maintain production flow within the Fridley Plant.Create deviation requests for alternative products when required.Follow up with the engineering and quality teams to expedite approval of deviations.Provide minor technical assistance to help identify alternative products and components.Work with operations and supply quality on quality sorts and identification of NCR items.Work with Materials, Purchasing and Engineering to expedite MCNs when required.Other duties as required by Materials.Qualifications:High School Diploma (College Bachelors Degree Preferred)Strong Materials and Supply Chain knowledgeStrong Communications skillsProject Management experience and Certificate in project management is a plusStrong Schedule Management Skills Able to manage complex tasks on a critical timelineTeam Leader Able to co-ordinate personnel across multiple functions to drive for timely completion of action items.Risk Management Identifies potential quality risks with product deviation and component substitution requests (ensure UL, ROHS, compliance)Location: On-site Hours: 7am-4pm The applicant should have a background in the supply chain and knowledge of project management. This role requires the act of liaison between groups to resolve issues. Must have great communication, team building, and time management skills. Must understand the importance of adhering to specific deadlines.
