NEBS Program Manager

🚀 We’re Hiring: NEBS Program Manager📍 Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite) 💼 Engagement: ContractWe are looking for an experienced NEBS Program Manager to support Core Hardware Engineering product lines and manage multiple compliance projects through various stages of development, testing, and certification.The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of NEBS compliance standards, Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, compliance testing, and program management, with the ability to work independently and coordinate across engineering teams and external laboratories.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine test strategies and test plans for GR-63, GR-1089, and GR-3108.Manage concurrent hardware compliance and certification projects.Lead problem-solving efforts to meet NEBS compliance requirements.Partner with development teams to investigate and resolve issues identified during testing.Coordinate with NEBS Design Engineers, Corporate Compliance teams, and external test laboratories to achieve certifications on schedule.Configure systems under test using network and physical simulation equipment, including traffic generators.Independently manage project schedules, testing activities, technical issues, and deliverables.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.CCNA certification with comprehensive knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.Strong program management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written/verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with NEBS standards – GR-63, GR-1089 & GR-3108.Experience with LLMs, Agentic AI, and RAG.Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, chart recorders, thermal chambers, and electrical test equipment.Python & SCPI for lab/test automation.Experience with Ixia IxNetwork.
