Front Office Manager/Surgical Coordinator

Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized, personable, and proactive Front Office Manager / SurgicalCoordinator to serve as a key leader in our patient experience and surgical scheduling process. Thisrole goes beyond traditional front desk responsibilities and is central to the overall success of ourboutique, patient-focused LASIK practice.The ideal candidate will manage the front office, guide patients through the decision-making process,coordinate surgical scheduling, and support clinical flow when needed.ResponsibilitiesPatient Experience & Front Office Leadership• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, creating a professional and welcoming environment• Oversee daily front office operations and patient flow• Manage phones, emails, and patient communications• Ensure an organized, calm, and efficient office experienceSurgical Coordination & Scheduling• Educate patients on LASIK/PRK procedures, pricing, and financing options• Guide patients through scheduling surgery and pre/post-operative visits• Manage and optimize the surgical schedule• Ensure patients are prepared and confident prior to surgery• Serve as liaison between patient, surgeon, and clinical teamAdministrative & Operational Support• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling systems• Support online scheduling and patient communication tools• Assist with tracking consult-to-surgery conversions• Help maintain organization and efficiency across the officeClinical Support (Light Technician Duties)• Assist with basic diagnostic testing (training provided if needed)• Support patient workups when clinic flow requires• Cross-train to assist clinical team members as neededQualifications• Experience in a medical, ophthalmology, optometry, or aesthetics practice preferred• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Comfortable discussing procedures, pricing, and financing• Highly organized with strong attention to detail• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment• Team-oriented with a positive, proactive mindsetWhat Makes This Role Unique• Key leadership role in a high-quality, patient-centered LASIK practice• Small, collaborative team environment• Opportunity for growth and increased responsibility• Focus on patient care without insurance-driven workflow
