This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for both residential and commercial clients.ResponsibilitiesApplies insulation to pipes, ducts, and equipment to regulate temperature, reduce noise, and protect equipment from damage.Measure, cut, and install various insulation materials like Fiberglass, Polyisocyanurate, or Styrofoam, while following the company's safety procedures.Install, service, and repair residential & commercial HVAC systems (furnaces, boilers, AC units, rooftop units, ductless systems, etc.)Diagnose equipment issues and recommend solutionsPerform preventive maintenance and seasonal tune-upsInstall and troubleshoot thermostats, controls, and related componentsFollow all safety procedures and company policiesCommunicate with customers to explain work performed and answer questionsMaintain accurate documentation of all work completedWork independently and as part of a teamParticipate in on-call rotation as neededQualificationsSome HVAC experience (residential and/or commercial) preferredValid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environmentsStrong customer service and communication skillsReliable, punctual, and professionalPreferred Skills (Not Required)Experience with RTUs, chillers, boilers, mini-splitsSheet metal fabricationElectrical troubleshootingNATE certificationPlumbing or refrigeration backgroundTalrooNY #equaloppurtunities
