Combining top-notch facilities with a vibrant atmosphere, PKLYN is not just a venue - it's a community hub where people gather to play, socialize, and enjoy exceptional hospitality.Overview Of RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and motivated Lead Bartender to staff and manage our full service bar and ensure seamless operations at PKLYN. This role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including managing guest experiences, overseeing bar operations and inventory, and executing memorable events. Ideal candidates should have a passion for hospitality, experience in managing teams and bars, and an affinity for pickleball.ResponsibilitiesGuest Services:Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues with a proactive approachDevelop and implement guest service standards to ensure a consistently high-quality experienceGather and analyze guest feedback to continuously improve service offeringsBar Management:Oversee daily bar operations, inventory control, and quality assuranceEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol serviceMajority of beverage offerings will be canned cocktails, 1:1 mixers with garnish, draft beer and special batch cocktails for eventsInventory Management:Monitor and manage inventory levels for bar supplies, equipment, and other consumablesOrder supplies and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely deliveryConduct regular inventory audits and implement efficient stock management practicesStaff Training and Management:Recruit, train, and mentor additional bar and hospitality staff as neededDevelop training programs and resources to enhance staff skills and knowledgeConduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to staffEvents Execution:Assisting to plan, coordinate, and execute a range of events, from casual gatherings to high-profile outingsWork with clients to customize event experiences and ensure all logistical aspects are managedCollaborate with marketing team to enhance event visibility and attract new Guests/opportunitiesAdditional Responsibilities:Maintain a clean and welcoming environment throughout the facilityMonitor and manage budgets related to bar operations, staffing, and eventsStay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas to enhance the guest experienceRequirements & QualificationsProven experience in bar and hospitality management (TIPS certification preferred)Strong affinity for pickleball is highly encouraged and considered an assetFood Handlers certificate and experience to ensure NYC code complianceExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as requiredDemonstrated problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detailExperience in bar management and inventory controlProficient in using hospitality management software and toolsTO APPLYPlease email jobs@pklyn.com and include “Lead Bartender” in the subject line.To be considered, you must email us (don't apply directly on Culinary Agents) and include:Your resumeA very brief introduction or cover letterYour favorite post-game drink (don’t overthink it) (or do?)More detail about PKLYN, please visit https://culinaryagents.com/entities/770968-PKLYN
