Although we're a seasonal business, we install and service our customers year round. In this role, you will be prepping materials and staging hundreds of projects for success each season. You play a critical role in setting up our crews for success and our customers for a top-notch experience working with our company. It's critical that the person in this role is attentive to detail, accurate, diligent in following our internal processes and protocols, and quick on their feet to problem-solve when needed. We hope you apply!Position OverviewThe Material Handler/Fabricator position is responsible for supporting efficient, accurate, and organized operations in our yard facility. This position is responsible for staging material pick ups and making local deliveries. The Material Handler/Fabricator is primarily focused on the following objectives:Support efficient daily operations in shop and yard facilitiesStage and deliver material with accuracyFollow production schedule to complete orders on timeRole And ResponsibilitiesPrepare, stage, and load material required for next day’s project installationsUnload material from delivery trucksDrive material to work sites or between operational facilities as neededRequired SkillsWelding or fabrication experienceA self-starter with a strong work ethicAbility to prioritize tasksMaintain an organized work environmentMaintain a current and valid driver’s licensePrioritize safety measures and follow safety protocolsCapable of lifting up to 80 poundsWillingness and ability to work in all weather conditionsAbility to communicate clearly, respectfullyBasic math skillsGeneral computer skillsPreferred SkillsCurrent and valid forklift certificationCurrent and valid Class C licenseGeneral construction skillsWhat credentials do you need?
