Additionally, Bookmans speaks out against censorship and promotes freedom of expression at every turn.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for contributing toward the regular and efficient circulation of music department merchandise in the store (primarily Vinyl, CDs and movies) by effectively purchasing, pricing, and stocking. All duties are performed with a commitment to actively serving customers.Job Requirements:• Superior Knowledge in Vinyl LPs: buying, processing and selling such products• Maintain expert-level knowledge of vinyl formats, grading standards, and collecting trends• Good communication and customer service skills• Motivation to serve our customers• Maintain knowledge in the areas of Music and Vinyl Culture• Evaluate merchandise for purchase at the incoming counter• Explain and negotiate (as necessary) deals with customers• Ability to use reference materials• Ability to adapt to a flexible working schedule• Perform other duties as assigned by managementThis position is Full-time and scheduled at a minimum of 32 hours per week. Must have Open Availability on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and be able to work 5 shifts per week.
