Location: Hybrid role based in San Antonio, Texas, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
Note: You must be licensed in Texas and have around 5 years of insurance defense or personal injury litigation experience. This role is best suited for an attorney who can manage a docket with confidence, communicate well with clients and carriers, and contribute at a more independent level.

Job Description
Manage a litigation docket with increasing independence and ownership
Review new case assignments and develop strategy from the outset
Draft pleadings, motions, written discovery, and case evaluations
Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
Handle client, carrier, and opposing counsel communication in a professional and timely manner
Appear in court, attend mediations, and support trial preparation
Evaluate liability, damages, and case exposure to help drive strategy
Work closely with paralegals and support staff to keep cases progressing efficiently
Research legal issues and apply practical litigation strategy to active matters
Contribute as a reliable mid‑level litigator who can operate with less day‑to‑day oversight
Qualifications
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Active Texas Bar license in good standing
5+ years of litigation experience
Background in insurance defense and/or personal injury strongly preferred
Strong writing, case management, and analytical skills
Comfortable managing a docket and communicating with clients and carriers
Organized, responsive, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced litigation environment
