Lead Speech Language Pathologist (Full-Time, $7,500 Sign-On Bonus)

About The RoleThe Lead Speech Language Pathologist position consists of providingdirect clinical work, assessments and individual consultations for clients. This position involves learning and integrating the principles of Early Start best practices and DIRFloortime principles.Job ResponsibilitiesThe Lead Speech Language Pathologist provides direct treatment to children and their families by:Conducting speech-language screening, without interpretation, and using age-appropriate screeningFollowing and implementing documented treatment plans or protocolsDocumenting progress toward meeting established child and family outcomes andreporting the informationConducting assessments, including, but not limited to, assisting with formaldocumentation, preparing materials, and performing clerical dutiesScheduling activities and preparing charts, records, graphs, and data.Performing checks and maintenance equipment including, but not limited to,augmentative communication devices (AAC)Carry out in-home sessions specifically tailored to the child’s treatment plan.Attend weekly staff meetings and trainings prepared to contribute todiscussions on cases presentedFollow administrative requests such as keeping current notes, progress reports,Employee Certifications, Or Any Other Required Documentation/renewals Necessary Forcontinued employmentMinimum RequirementsSpeech-Language Pathology Certification in CaliforniaStrong desire to learn a Developmental, Relationship-Based Model (DRBI) through training, observation and reflectionStrong communication skills both written and oralPassion for working with children on the autism spectrumAbility to work seamlessly and respectfully on a trans-disciplinary teamEducationMaster's in Speech Language PathologyLicense/CertificationActive state SLP LicenseASHA certificationMedical SpecialtyPediatricsAutism Spectrum DisorderScheduleM-F 8:00AM-6:00PM (flexible)BenefitsAmazon Medical OneEmployer-paid Life & Disability InsuranceMedical, Dental, Vision InsurancePet InsurancePaid Sick Leave401k with Employer MatchPaid TrainingReferral Bonus ProgramPaid Time OffPaid Parental LeaveFlex Days$2,000 CEUs AnnuallyCompensation Range: $100K - $120K
