People Caring For And About People.Your Role as an Activities Driver:Provide safe and on-time transportation for resident activitiesAssist residents with boarding and un-boarding the vehiclePerform inspection of facility vehicle prior to every trip and report any damage or safely concerns to Activities DirectorReport all accidents and incidents to Activities DirectorProvide current proof of insurability annually or as requestedCommunicate in a positive manner with healthcare team members, residents, families, visitors and vendorsAdhere to facility policies and procedures, including infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulationsResponsible for attending in-service programs, educational workshops and meetings as required by the facility and stateWhat We're Looking For:Must have a high school diploma or equivalentMust be a minimum of 18 years of ageMust possess a current Commercial Driver's License with a passenger endorsementMust possess personal vehicle insurance coverage and provide ongoing proof of coverageAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and, to work independently and as a part of a teamAbility to remain calm and cope with the mental and emotional stress of the positionMust be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, emotional upset and at times, hostile elderlyMust be in good general health and free of communicable diseasesMust have visual acuity and ability to hear, with or without use of prostheticsMust have the physical ability to lift, push, pull and move equipment in excess of 25 poundsMust be able to assist in the evacuation of residents from the vehicle and/or activity if neededMust have the ability to read, write and speak the English languageYour Next Step Starts Here!This is more than a job-it's an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day.Caring Place Healthcare Group is an equal opportunity employer.
