The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oil and gas law, with a focus on title examination and regulatory compliance. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the legal integrity of mineral title transactions and providing legal guidance to our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough title examinations and prepare title opinions for mineral properties.Advise clients on oil and gas law, property rights, and mineral leasing issues.Negotiate contracts and agreementsPerform due diligence on mineral titles and assist in the acquisition and divestiture of mineral interests.Ensure compliance with land use regulations and other relevant legal requirements.Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting mineral rights and oil and gas operations.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD)Licensed to practice in MT, WY, ND, UT, or CO2+ years of experience in mineral title examination and oil and gas law.Strong knowledge of title examination processes and regulatory compliance.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Ability to conduct thorough research and present findings clearly.Benefits- Comprehensive benefits package- Set your own hours and annual hourly commitment- Flexible compensation package
